Hand Block Printed Cotton Fabric, Faint Blue background with a floral print
Available in Fat Quarters, Half & One Yard bits. 

Width - Approximately 106cm / 44"

This is 60x60 cotton fabric made of pure cotton yarn and then hand printed with Azo free dyes in rural India. This is a light weight fabric and can be used for Sewing, Crafting, Quilting etc.

Machine Wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent. 

Multiples of half/one metre will be cut as one continuous piece.

Block printing has been practised in India for centuries, using wooden or metal blocks to print designs on fabric, by hand.
The design is carved onto the block by hand. The carved block is dipped into the required colour and then transferred onto the fabric.
